Swim Spa’s are increasing in popularity and bridge the gap between a hot tub and a swimming pool. They are designed for you to swim against a current of water, like a treadmill for swimming, or for fun and a splash about and there is a seated resting area too.

The Super Stream Swim Spa is manufactured by Orca Leisure a leading Hot Tub and Spa manufacturer based in the UK.

The features of this Super Stream Swim Spa are as follows;

It has three seats that can used as an area to rest and relax after a swim or to watch the children playing.

It holds 4800 litres of water which is 1242 US gallons, and has a dry weight of 650kg, so the base that the Swim Spa sits on must be strong and level.

The shell is an Aristech Acrylic Shell. USA company Aristech Acrylics, is the global leading brand of acrylic sheet, sold primarily into the bath and hot tub manufacturing industries; Aristech has been the leading provider of acrylic sheets to the hot tub and swim spa industry for decades, so you can be sure of the quality.

The shell body has high-density insulation foam to keep the heat in the Swim Spa. There is a galvanised steel frame to ensure the strength of the structure. The bottom is a sealed ABS, which prevents moisture and insects from getting into the working parts of the Swim Spa. It is also another part of the insulation keeping the heat in the Swim Spa and enhancing the energy efficiency of the Swim Spa.

There is a bottom drain valve to make emptying and cleaning the Swim Spa easier.

The Super Stream Swim Spa uses two large cartridge filters to help keep the water clean.

There are 33 stainless steel water jets,12 air nozzles and 3 counter current jets.

Four x 3hp massage pumps to allow for an invigorating massage.

One 700w air blower.

One 1 hp circulation pump to keep the water moving through the system.

An ozone generator to assist with sanitisation of the water.

Four ozone jets.

Four control valves.

Two headrests.

One 5” underwater light and 26 multipoint LED lights that really create a beautiful ambiance at night.

The Swim Spa comes complete with step and insulated cover.

A 32amp electricity supply is needed for this Swim Spa and this would need to be put in place by a qualified electrician and it is an extra cost to be factored in to the investment.
